I started playing footbag in 1980 and went to my first tournament in 1981.

Our little group of hackers from Austin travelled to Houston Memorial Park to be mesmerized by a young Kenny Shults and in awe of Mr. Hacky Sack himself - Johnny Stalberger.

I was talked into playing footbag net even though I had never even seen the game and I was hooked!
