This website is dedicated to the sport of Footbag, its history and to the many individuals who have paved the way for the game and sport since 1978.

Most legitimate sports have established a Hall of Fame (HoF) that honors the players, coaches and others that have made a significant impact in their chosen sport. The Footbag Hall of Fame was founded in 1997 by three of the sport’s pioneers for that very reason.

In 1996, John Stalberger, Theodore Huff and Garwin Bruce knew it was time to honor the many players, coaches and promoters that had dedicated much of their lives to growing the sport they all love. So, the HoF was founded, and during the 1997 World Footbag Championships the first group of inductees were crowned and honored by their peers.

Every year since the inaugural induction of Footbag’s superstars, the HoF has honored both players and promoters of the sport. Now more than 100 individuals proudly wear this badge of honor as true superstars of Footbag.
